In every comedy there is truth and pain: My truth: I'm a cake maniac. My pain: I'm celiac. Do you see it as a tragedy? For me it's an endless well of jokes and laughter.

I know Easter is a time for chocolate in the form of eggs, bunnies and chicks but I can't resist inviting you to a party with the prettiest "No birthday" cakes you can imagine: we'll eat flowers, bake in Paris and toast chocolate in Oaxaca.

Because it's a vacation and why we should feed not only these monumental bodies, I also leave you with the books on creativity that I'm reading and working on now: the pastries equivalent for your brain.

As I know you are a tireless fan of Living For Breakfast and read it every Sunday, you will have seen that this issue is a little different: the title is different, the subject matter and the drawings. This is the story, I'm editing it from the beach, without clean internet access, without the files (which I forgot to upload to the cloud), without scanner... and because of all this I guess as I write that it will be one of the best issues. Instead of forcing what you want, you just have to be. Sometimes you have to let things be what they want to be and just let you be with them.

Happy Easter mon croissant. Eat gluten, if you can and if you can't, laugh a lot, you already have enough.

TARTAS, CONEJOS, CHOCOLATE Y PLAYA

En toda comedia hay verdad y dolor: Mi verdad: soy un loco de las tartas. Mi dolor: soy celíaco. ¿Lo ves como una tragedia? Para mi es un pozo inagotable de chistes y risas.

Sé que Pascua es una época de chocolate en forma de huevo, conejos y pollitos pero no puedo resistirme a invitarte a una fiesta con las tartas de "No cumpleaños" más bonitas que puedas imaginar: comeremos flores, cocinaremos en París y tostaremos el chocolate en Oaxaca.

Porque son vacaciones y porque debemos alimentar no solo estos cuerpos monumentales, os dejo también los libros sobre creatividad que estoy leyendo y trabajando ahora: el equivalente de la repostería para tu cerebro.

Como sé que eres fan incansable de Living For Breakfast y lo lees cada domingo, habrás visto que este número es algo diferente: el título es diferente, la temática y los dibujos. Estas es su historia, lo edito desde la playa, sin acceso limpio a internet, sin los archivos (que olvidé subir a la nube), sin escáner... y por todo esto adivino mientras escribo que será uno de los mejores números. En lugar de forzar lo que uno quiere hay simplemente que ser. A veces hay que dejar que las cosas sean lo que quieren ser y nosotr@s con ellas.

Felices Pascuas mon croissant. Come gluten tú que puedes y si no, ríete mucho que ya tienes bastante.
